Spring 2017 Featured Ethnographic Film Maker: Paloma Yáñez

This film is about teaching visual methods and doing collaborative visual ethnography with young people from Rocinha, the largest favela and Gávea the wealthiest neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro. Working with the Big Tree Collective team, 10 young people explore the socio-spatial segregation that shapes their daily lives.
